The Yodel statement says: “As we head into the busy Christmas period, it may take us a couple of extra days to get your parcels to you in a few areas across the country.
“Our teams are working really hard to deliver all of your parcels to you.”
A spokesperson for DPD said there were “no delays showing” for south east London.
When asked if south east London was being particularly affected, Royal Mail didn’t have any information to provide at this time.
A spokesperson for Royal Mail said: “We are doing everything we can to deliver Christmas for our customers and settle this dispute.
“During the last strike days, we delivered more than 700,000 parcels, and more than 11,000 delivery and processing staff returned to work.
“We recovered our service quickly, but the task becomes more challenging as Christmas nears.”
Evri, formerly known as Hermes, confirmed on its website that there were “localised delays” as a result of oongoing Royal Mail strikes and severe weather.
Although they did not confirm if south east London was particularly affected in any way.
The company also revealed that their staff are delivering over three million parcels a day in the lead up to Christmas.
A spokesperson for Evri said: “We are sorry that some customers in the local area are experiencing short delays in receiving their parcels.
“This is due to a number of factors including severe weather, Royal Mail strikes and staff shortages. Our local team is working hard to address this and to deliver any delayed parcels over the next few days.
“We thank everyone for their patience and understanding.”
