Sidcup Leisure Centre has raised a total of £348.03 for Children in Need this year by hosting a range of fundraisers and events.
The day saw lots of fun activities for families in the local community, including a bake sell which sold more than 200 cakes, according to organisers.
Children were given the opportunity to name the bear at the leisure centre, with the winning name, Geoff, being chosen by community member Lenny.
People were also given the opportunity to guess how many sweets were in three jars.
Sidcup also had a special celebrity guest, as Pudsey Bear paid a visit to the leisure centre over the course of three days and gave a lot of cuddles and high fives.
Both the children and the adults enjoyed meeting Pudsey as they had their pictures taken. Pudsey took part activities such as dancing, badminton, running, cycling, rowing and personal training.
The leisure centre also hosted a bake sale, selling over 200 cakes and cookies as part of the activities to raise money for Children in Need.
Children In Need's mission is to help ensure every child in the UK is safe, happy, secure and has the opportunities they need to reach their potential.
They raise money both throughout the year and in their annual November appeal which is put to work where it’s needed most.
Children in Need fund local charities and projects who help remove the barriers that are facing children and young people, so that they can thrive.
Leanne Wye, Centre Manager at Sidcup Leisure Centre, said: “Thank you so much to all our staff and customers for all your support and taking part in all our games and activities to help us raise so much money for this fantastic charity.
“Children in Need is an incredibly worthwhile cause, and we’re proud to be able to bring the community together to raise money while bringing a smile to local families.”
