New data has revealed the best and worst times to do your Christmas shopping at Bluewater shopping centre.
With Christmas fast approaching, there will be a lot of people hitting the shops in these last days in the lead up to the big day.
New data released by CBD brand TRIP has revealed the best and worst times to shop at Bluewater - according to data taken from Google and a survey of reviews from customers.
They found that the best time of day to do your shopping at Bluewater was on a Monday at 8pm.
Sunday afternoon came in at close second, although they advised to check closing times before traveling.
Saturday was ranked to be the busiest day to shop, although the quietest period of the day was ranked to be between 9am-11am.
The worst time of day to shop in Bluewater was ranked to be Saturday between 2pm and 3pm due to many shoppers being out on the weekend.
This time was found to be the worst day and time to shop in any region in the country with busy crowds hitting the shops on their day off.
A spokesperson for TRIP said: “A working Monday before 10am or after 6pm is the calmest times to go Christmas shopping in the UK, according to this new research.
“The second best day for a calm shopping experience is late Sunday afternoon, but it’s best to check the closing times before you head out as some shops may close early on a Sunday
“Saturday at 9am is also a good time to shop for last-minute gifts, but you’ll want to leave the shopping centre before 11am as Saturday is also the busiest day of the week and will quickly become packed with shoppers.
“Saturday between 2pm and 3pm is the worst time to go shopping in almost every region analysed.
“Unless you cannot do it any other time, try to avoid the crowds by shopping any other day.”
Sales expert and EMEA Director at TRIP, Dom Dalton said: “Arriving at the shopping centre just before it opens gives you time to get there and be the first one in.
“Because there aren’t as many customers shopping assistants will have more time to help you find the perfect gift.”
“On the other hand, trying to shop right before closing time might be a risky move if you have multiple shops to go to, as it is easy to lose track of time while looking around for what you need.”
