Snow and ice have swept across the area, with cold wintry conditions set to continue for days.
With the icy conditions and blankets of snow, travel chaos struck neighbhourhoods this Monday morning.
The Met Office has issued a yellow severe weather alert until 11am tomorrow (December 13).
It was the coldest night of the year so far on Sunday, with temperatures in northern Scotland dipping below minus 15C.
Despite this, south east Londoners have been focusing on the bright side and made the most out of the spectacular weather.
