A woman in her 70s is fighting for her life after a crash in Eltham.
The incident between a pedestrian and a lorry happened in Footscray Road at 2.35pm today (December 9).
Officers, London Ambulance Service crews and an air ambulance attended the scene.
The woman was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.
Her condition is being treated as life-threatening.
The driver of the lorry stopped at the scene.
No arrests have been made following the incident.
Police enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
Anyone who saw the incident, or who has dash cam footage that could help police with their investigation, should call 101 and quote reference CAD 3868/9 Dec.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 14:35hrs on Friday, 9 December to Footscray Road, Eltham, to reports of a collision involving a lorry and a pedestrian.
“Officers responded with LAS and London's Air Ambulance.
“The woman, believed to be aged in her 70s, was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital; her condition is being treated as life-threatening.
“The lorry stopped at the scene. There have been no arrests at this time.
“Enquiries are ongoing.
“Anyone who saw the incident, or who has dash cam footage that could help police with their investigation, should call 101 ref CAD 3868/9 Dec.”
