A popular pub in Blackheath has reopened after a major refurbishment.
The Princess of Wales, in Montpelier Row, has been decked inside and out in “traditional” style after being shut for four weeks.
The pub, which is associated with Blackheath Rugby Club, has been given a facelift with new furnishings and an outdoor dining area.
It now has two new bars and more seating for its customers.
It boasts one of the oldest surviving bar backs in the country on the left-hand bar, which is dated from 1865, according to the pub.
New to the menu will be a bottomless brunch, serving any breakfast dish with either bottomless prosecco or Camden Hells lager.
Guests will also be greeted with an extensive drinks menu, with a wide selection of craft beers, ciders and cocktails.
It is open seven days a week from 12pm until 11pm on Monday to Saturday, but shuts at 10.30pm on Sunday.
