London Ambulance Service has issued a statement after a stabbing in Bromley.
An 18-year-old man was found injured in Hawthorne Road at 4.40pm yesterday (December 7).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews were called to the scene.
An ambulance crew, a medic in a fast response car, an incident response officer, and a clinical team leader also attended.
The man was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.
His condition has been assessed as not life-threatening.
No arrests have been made following the incident.
Police enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call 101 and quote reference CAD 5214/07Dec.
Information can also be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 16:48hrs on Wednesday, 7 December to reports of a stabbing in Hawthorne Road, Bromley.
“Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service. An 18-year-old man was found with a stab injury. He was taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as not life-threatening.
“No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting CAD 5214/07Dec.
“To remain anonymous contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said:
“We were called at 4.40pm yesterday (7 December) to reports of a stabbing on Southborough Road, Bromley.
“We sent a number of resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, a medic in a fast response car, an incident response officer and a clinical team leader.
“We treated a man at the scene before taking him to hospital as a priority.”
