The driver of an overturned lorry has been taken to hospital after crash in Woolwich.
The incident happened in New Ferry Approach just before 12.50pm today (December 5).
Officers attended and found the driver injured.
The driver of the lorry, who was a man, was taken to hospital.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Road closures have been put in place following the incident.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 12:48hrs on Monday, 5 December to reports of an overturned lorry on New Ferry Approach in Woolwich.
“Emergency services attended. The driver has been taken to hospital; his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
“Road closures are in place.”
