Police are investigating a fire inside a semi-detached bungalow which was under construction.
Firefighters were called to the blaze on Lower Road at 12.52am on Sunday (November 27).
A part of an adjoining bungalow was also damaged by the fire.
There has been no reports of any injuries and the fire was under control by 2.37am.
Four fire engines and 25 firefighters from Plumstead, Bexley and Erith fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
A spokesperson for the London Fire Brigade said: “Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a bungalow fire on Lower Road in Belvedere.
“A semi-detached bungalow under construction was destroyed by fire and part of an adjoining bungalow was also damaged by the blaze.
“There were no reports of any injuries.
“The Brigade was called at 0042 and the fire was under control by 0237.
“Fire crews from Plumstead, Bexley and Erith fire stations attended the scene.
“The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.”
