A man has been taken to hospital with facial injuries after an assault in Penge.
Police and ambulance crews were called at around 10.25pm on Sunday evening (November 27) to an assault near to the war memorial on Penge high street.
A 50-year-old man was taken to hospital with facial injuries.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
There have been no arrests and police enquiries continue.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: "Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at about 22:25hrs on Sunday, 27 November to reports of an assault close to the war memorial on High Street in Penge.
"Officers attended.
"A 50-year-old man was taken to hospital with facial injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
"There have been no arrests and enquiries continue."
