A man has been charged with murder over a stabbing in London in 1984, the Metropolitan Police said.
Paul Bryan, 61, is accused of killing 63-year-old Roman Szalajko on February 7 1984 in Seaton Close, Kennington, south-east London.
Bryan was arrested 38 years after the alleged offence on his return to the UK on a flight from Spain on Saturday November 19.
He is due to appear at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday charged with murder and possessing or controlling identity documents with intent.
Mr Szalajko’s family have been informed of the arrest and charge.
