Crystal Palace Park is hosting the award-winning Lightopia festival this Christmas time for its second year in a row.
Lightopia describes itself as an “ultimate neon winter wonderland experience” showcasing immersive, multi-sensory interactive light and lantern installations and a festive water show.
The festival runs from mid-November to early January and promises to “create magical family memories and will be a must-see for all the family this festive season”.
Each of the displays will tell a magical story including The Wonders of the Dragon - a breath-taking light dragon who dramatically breathes “fire”, The Magical Forest - a fantasy world of mythical winged creatures as well as the enchanting and organic Land of Fairy Literature, Earth Flower and Forest Mushroom.

Do not miss the spooky and wonky world of the Haunted Road and of course the ultimate Christmas installation of giant snowmen, baubles and sugar canes.
The highlight of the event is a 40-metre-wide and 15-metre-tall water show featuring the beloved Christmas imagery of a giant Santa, Rudolf, Christmas tree and snowflakes.
Visitors can also enjoy some festive food and drink at the event, with the promise of plenty of pitstops along the train.
