A TikTokker from Sidcup has been left “horrified” after finding a “foetus” in an egg while filming an eggy bread and bacon sandwich-making tutorial for her followers.
DJ Lady S was a professional vinyl drum and base DJ in the 90s, and now uses her growing TikTok account to entertain her followers.
She makes an array of digital mixing videos, along with comedy, food and drink, inspirational quotes, DIY and tech and more.

On September 15, she posted a video where she set out to treat her 26,000 followers to a tutorial on making an “eggy bread and bacon sandwich” – something which she had never attempted before.
The video, which has been viewed more than 2,000 times, begins with DJ Lady S saying she’s decided to make something she hasn’t made in a very long time – “with a bit of a twist”.
It’s captioned “my food tutorial turned out gross” with “what could possibly go wrong?” and a note telling users to “watch ‘til the end” with a sick emoji.
DJ Lady S cracks three eggs into a jug, one after the other, and after mixing the eggs and transferring them to a larger bowl to soak the bread in, she spots something in the mix and asks “what the hell is that?!”
After retching, “oh my god”-ing and asking what it is a few more times, DJ Lady S films the foetus-looking object and says “don’t tell me that’s what I think it is”.
DJ Lady S told the News Shopper: “I noticed a round, hard object the size of a grape.
“It was hard enough to survive the beating of the eggs, and as I was filming I was absolutely shocked, repulsed and horrified.
“It was a hard, round object with sinuses hanging from the end – and I started to heave.
“I lifted up the hard object to ask people what they thought it was and I realised the only thing that it could be is a chicken foetus that had formed inside the egg.
“With that, while still heaving, I decided to investigate further.”
Dj Lady S cut what she assumes to be an “egg foetus” in half and described what she found as like a “solid, hard meatball”.
She reported what she had found to Ocado, where she had ordered the box of 12 large free range eggs from, but was disappointed by the online supermarket’s response.
A spokesperson for Ocado told the News Shopper it is working closely with its supplier to “fully investigate this isolated incident”.
DJ Lady S explained: “Ocado had nothing more helpful to say apart from that it happens naturally in the egg.
“They lack communication and common sense.
“Also, all I got from them was a refund for the eggs – I’ll never be able to order from them again.
“It’s even repulsed me so much that I’m now put off eggs for life and as a result I won’t go near them now.
“I was actually thinking about having a double sausage and egg McMuffin meal this morning but then I thought about the egg and it instantly put me off.
“It’s haunted me for life.”
A spokesperson for Ocado Retail said: “At Ocado we’re committed to delivering the highest quality products to our customers and have regular quality control checks in place.
"We are working closely with the supplier to fully investigate this isolated incident and are also in direct contact with the customer who has received a refund.”
