Part of a shop with flats above it has been damaged by a fire which broke out in Greenwich.
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to The Village in Charlton at 7.18pm on Friday (September 23).
The fire was brought under control by fire crews from East Greenwich, Greenwich and Plumstead fire stations by around 9pm.
There were no reports of any injuries and the cause of the fire is now under investigation.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade: “Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a shop with flats above on The Village in Charlton.
“Part of the ground and first floors of the building were damaged by fire.
“There were no reports of any injuries.
“The Brigade was called at 1918 and the fire was under control by 2101.
“Fire crews from East Greenwich, Greenwich and Plumstead fire stations attended the scene.
“The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
