A PUB in Bexleyheath has launched a new offer to help feed families of four despite the ongoing cost of living crisis.
The Kings Arms, in Broadway, said on Facebook that it is aware of the cost-of-living issue and wants to give back to the community through its new scheme from September 20.
It comes after energy regulator, Ofgem announced that from October 1, most people will pay around £1,570 more per year for gas and electricity.
This means that the energy price cap is set to jump by 80 per cent to reflect the rise in wholesale energy costs for energy suppliers.
The offer, known as Family Time, includes a £20 meal for a family of four where children can order any main courses of their choice from the kid’s menu and a scoop of ice cream.
Adults will have the choice of one main meat or vegetarian course each, which will be freshly prepared.
The dishes will be announced on Mondays and will change weekly, according to the pub’s Facebook page.
Adults and children can also have four non-alcoholic drinks with their meals.
The deal will be available to families between Mondays and Fridays from 5pm until 7pm.
We have contacted the Kings Arms Pub for more information.
