I WAS greatly saddened to read about the death of Adrian Wolfson and the tragic circumstances surrounding it (Sex Charge Man Dead, News Shopper, March 5).
I met Mr Wolfson on quite a number of occasions while my grandson, who is now 16, attended Deansfield Primary School, and knew nothing of his private life.
What I do know is during this time my grandson was inspired by the brilliant teaching of Mr Wolfson, leading him to achieve great success in his studies.
Many parents and guardians, I believe, would endorse the sentiment of these remarks.
Mr Wolfson on every occasion was a joy to meet - a sensitive, caring and loving man who was funny, clever and inspirational.
His sheer enthusiasm for life made his death seem even more tragic, whether or not there is any authenticity in the accusations.
He is remembered for the good he put into the world and I send my most heartfelt condolences to his family, teachers, pupils and friends on this very sad occasion.
