A CYCLIST is in a critical condition after a crash with a lorry in Southwark.
The incident happened in Great Dover Street at 7.35am yesterday (September 12).
Police and London Ambulance Service crews were called to the scene.
The cyclist, who was a man, was taken to hospital for treatment.
His next of kin have been informed.
The driver of the lorry stopped at the scene.
No arrests have been made following the incident.
Police enquires are ongoing.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at approximately 7.35am on Monday, 12 September to reports of a lorry in collision with a cyclist in Great Dover Street, SE1.
“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended.
“The male cyclist was taken to hospital for treatment; he remains there in a critical condition.
“His next of kin have been informed.
“The lorry stopped at the scene.
“There have been no arrests and enquiries continue."
