A MOTORCYCLIST is in a critical condition after a crash with a car in Sidcup.
The incident happened in Station Road just after 7am yesterday (September 7).
The rider of the motorcycle, a man, was found injured and taken to hospital for treatment.
Pictures from the scene show the road cordoned off by police as the incident was dealt with.
It also shows debris from the motorcycle scattered across the road.
Stunned onlookers can also be seen watching the aftermath of the incident.
No arrests have been made following the crash.
Police enquires into the circumstances continue.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at approximately 07.05am on Wednesday, 7 September to reports of collision involving a car and a motorbike in Station Road, Sidcup.
“The male rider of the motorcycle – no further details – has been taken to hospital for treatment where his condition is critical.
"The car stopped at the scene.
“No arrests; enquiries into the circumstances continue.”
