NURSERY school youngsters learnt about the connection between the classic children's story Peter Pan and Great Ormond Street Hospital, to help raise cash for the children's hospital.
Children and staff at the Chatterbox Nursery, Main Road, Sidcup, took part in the Great Ormond Street Hospital charity week.
One of the highlights of the week was a dressing up day, based on the theme of Peter Pan, the JM Barrie story whose royalties still provide funds for the hospital.
Staff visited neighbouring shops in costume to collect donations and there was a cake sale.
Children also took part in a sponsored hop around the garden.
Another highlight of the week was the sight of nursery nurse of the year and the nursery's deputy manager, Emmanuel Musaka, and pre-school room leader, Sam Mummery, having their legs waxed to boost the fundraising coffers.
The nursery hopes to raise more than £600 for the central London hospital.
