The Friends of West Wickham Library will be hosting a fragrant afternoon this Wednesday (March 12), where attendees will have the chance to sample a range of perfumes.
Ken Palmer, an active member of the Dover branch of the Association of Men of Kent and Kentish Men, will be giving the talk at the West Wickham Library, Glebe Way, at 2.30PM.
Mr Palmer, who spent over 40 years as a researcher in the perfumery trade, will be bringing along a range of samples of perfumes used by manufacturers of a huge range of everyday products.
His selection includes synthesised scents both old fashioned and modern, ranging from the cosmetic, through those found in bathroom products and onto to the smells we expect from our laundry powder and other household cleaning products.
Refreshments will be served, and there will be a raffle after the talk.
All are welcome, and a nominal charge will be made on the door.
As ever all proceeds will go towards improving facilities at the library.
