THE time has come to say goodbye to one of Penges biggest eyesores.
Property developers want to demolish the multi-storey Kent and Surrey Towers in Woodbine Grove, Penge.
Lucya Szachnowski, 40, of Laurel Grove, Penge, delivered papers in the blocks as a child.
She will be glad to see the back of the two monstrosities. She said: "They are horrible. Theyre a blot on the Penge landscape and Ill be glad when theyre gone."
The developers, Copthorne Homes have lodged an application to build 31 homes on the site of the two tower blocks.
