Police have released new images of a suspect they want to trace after a man was stabbed in Lewisham.
Officers were called to Westwood Hill at 7.12pm on Monday, August 8 to reports of a stabbing.
Emergency services attended and found an 18-year-old man with stab wounds.
He was taken to hospital in a critical condition and remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Police say his injuries are potentially life changing.
Detective Inspector Spencer Thomas said the incident was a “brutal assault” and the man survived merely to skilled medical intervention.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who was in the area, and who has yet to speak with police, to come forward.

Detective Inspector Spencer Thomas said: “A young man was stabbed a number of times in broad daylight at a bus stop.
“This was a brutal assault, and it is only due to skilled medical intervention that he did not die.
“His injuries were so serious that he still remains in hospital, and he may never fully recover.
“We need to find the man responsible for this assault, he is clearly a very dangerous individuals.
“If you see him, do not approach him but call 999.
“If you have any information call police or you can call Crimestoppers who will never ask for your name or trace your IP.
“However you want to help, please do call and tell us what you know, any information you have could be vital in helping us find this man.”

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called to Westwood Hill, SE26 at 19:12hrs on Monday, 8 August following reports of a stabbing.
“Officers attended with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and found an 18-year-old man with stab wounds.
“He was taken to hospital in a critical condition, he remains in hospital in serious but stable condition and his injuries are potentially life changing.
“Detectives are appealing for anyone who was in the area, and who has yet to speak with police, to come forward.”
