The August Bank Hoilday weekend is nearly here so can expect some changes to the regular timetable for many day-to-day businesses.
This includes the weekly bin collections in the area which will have amended collection dates to work around the occasion.
In some areas, you can expect a reduced service, and changed collection times but some will still work to their normal schedule.

August Bank Holiday Bin Collections in Bexley:
According to Bexley's local council, bin collections will take place a day later than their usual scheduled time.
Meaning if your regular date is Monday, August 29 for this week it will be taking place a day later, with the regular schedule resuming on Monday, September 5.

August Bank Holiday Bin Collections in Bromley:
Bromley also uses a similar structure, seeing collection days following a bank holiday take place a day later than usual.

August Bank Holiday Bin Collections in Dartford:
Also using the day later method is Dartford council, where all regular collections will be pushed back a day until Monday, September 5.

August Bank Holiday Bin Collections in Greenwich:
Collections in Greenwich will also be taking place a day later over the next week.
However if your bins are being emptied on Saturday 3 September, there will be a reduced collection service.

Lewisham residents can also expect collections to happen a day later than normal, with those that are typically on Monday now taking place on Tuesday.
