The victim of an assault has been "repeatedly" punched in the face while walking his dogs in Sidcup.
It follows an altercation which happened just after 5.15pm on August 17 in Gattons Way.
A man aged in his 60s is reported to have been walking his dogs when he was repeatedly punched in the face by another man.
The victim suffered facial injuries.
The suspect had left the scene when police arrived.
There have been no arrests and police enquiries continue.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: "Police were called at 17:17hrs on 17 August to Gattons Way, Sidcup to reports of an assault.
"A man aged in his 60s is reported to have been walking his dogs when he was repeatedly punched in the face by another man following an altercation.
"The victim suffered facial injuries.
"Police attended but the suspect had left the scene.
"There have been no arrests at this time; enquiries are ongoing."
