The driver of a car has been left in a critical condition after a crash with a bus in Beckenham.
The car and bus crash happened just before 12.40am today in Elmers End Road.
The bus driver and a passenger in the car were taken to hospital.
Their injuries were not life-threatening or life-changing.
The passenger was arrested in connection with the incident.
The driver of the car is in hospital in a critical condition.
Roads were closed at the time.
Police enquiries are ongoing.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: "Police were called at 00:38hrs on Friday, 19 August to Elmers End Road, Beckenham, following a collision involving a car and a bus.
"The bus driver and a passenger in the car were taken to hospital - injuries not life-threatening or life-changing. The passenger was arrested in connection with the incident.
"The driver of the car was also taken to hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
"Road closures were put in place.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
