A man has been found dead near to an Aldi store in Crayford.
Ambulance crews and police became aware of the man just after 1.50pm yesterday in the vicinity of Roman Way.
The man's death is being treated by police as unexpected.
Officers have investigated and it does not appear to be suspicious.
Police are seeking to inform the man's next of kin.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: "At 13:52hrs on Wednesday, 3 August police were notified by the London Ambulance Service that a man had been found deceased in the vicinity of Roman Way, Crayford.
"The man’s death is being treated as unexpected.
"It has been investigated and does not appear to be suspicious.
"A file will be prepared for the coroner.
"Efforts are under way to inform the deceased man’s next of kin."
