A DRIVER has been taken to hospital after crashing into a driveway and house in Bexleyheath.
The incident happened in Long Lane at 8.45am yesterday (August 1).
Officers attended with London Fire Brigade and found a man injured.
The driver, who was a man, was taken to a south London hospital for treatment.
The incident was over for the brigade by 9.45am
Two fire engines and a fire rescue unit from Bexley and Erith fire stations attended the scene.
We have contacted London Ambulance Service for further information.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: "Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 08:45hrs on Monday, 1 August to reports of a car in collision with a house on Long Lane in Bexleyheath.
"Emergency services attended.
"The driver was taken to a south London hospital."
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: “Firefighters were called to a road traffic collision on Long Lane in Bexleyheath yesterday morning.
“Crews made the scene safe after a car collided with a car parked in a driveway.
“One man was taken to hospital.
“The Brigade was called at 0905 and the incident was over for firefighters by 0945.
“Two fire engines and a fire rescue unit from Bexley and Erith fire stations attended the scene.”
