A train fare dodger from Belvedere has been ordered to pay more than 100 times the price of the ticket he avoided paying for in court.
Jack Fitzgerald travelled from Deptford to London Bridge on January 4, 2022 without paying his £3.80 train fare.
The 21-year-old was ordered to pay £392.80 for the offence during a hearing in his absence at Bexley Magistrates' Court on July 20.
This includes a £220 fine, £3.80 in compensation, a surcharge to fund victim services of £34 and costs of £125.
Fitzgerald, of Norman Road in Belvedere, must pay this by August 17.
