A man who stole more than £400 worth of alcohol from a Waitrose store in Bromley and a Sainsburys store in Forest Hill has faced court.
On June 29, 2022, Ammar Aman stole 26 bottles of wine, to the value of £178.79, from a Sainsbury’s store in Forest Hill.
He pleaded guilty to the offence at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on July 18, 2022 and was ordered to pay £249.
This includes a £50 fine, £114 to fund victim services and court costs of £85.
The 51-year-old must also complete a community order by July 17, 2023.
Aman, of Peckham Road in Southwark, also pleaded guilty to stealing £244.83 worth of alcohol from a Waitrose store in Bromley Town Centre on July 7, 2022.
He was ordered to pay a £50 fine for this offence during the same hearing at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court.
