A stretch of the M25 near Orpington was closed for 11 hours after a crash.
National Highways tweeted at 4.30pm yesterday (July 17) that traffic was stopped due to a multi-vehicle crash.
The incident happened on the anti-clockwise section between junction four Orpington and junction three Swanley, according to National Highways.
Traffic was released through the rear of the queue at 6.15pm.
The road then reopened today (July 18) at 3.30am following an investigation by Kent Police.
Pictures from the scene show all emergency services at the scene.
An air ambulance was also spotted attending the incident.
It also shows vehicles queued up along the road with onlookers assessing the incident.
