A nursery in Orpington has re-opened after the building was damaged by Storm Eunice.
Bright Horizons Crofton Day Nursery and Preschool was forced to close after the storm in February and it has taken five months to get back up and running.
The nursery refurbishments include a full replacement of the roof, new internal ceilings, new flooring, and redecoration throughout.
Beverley Reeves, the nursery manager, said: “We have taken the time to include some wonderful features such as our cosy under twos unit and our exciting and well-resourced preschool room.
“This has a dedicated space for early reading, maths and science and has been designed to provide a nurturing environment to ensure children receive the best start in life.”
Beverley took over as manager while the nursery was closed so both the facilities and the management are brand-new.
She added: “It is a new start for me personally and it feels like I am at a brand-new setting following the refurbishments.
“We are so pleased to be welcoming children and families back to our nursery.”
You can book a tour at the nursery by visiting the Crofton nursery website.
