This is the terrifying moment a Mercedes car flies off the road and crashes into the front garden of a house in Bexley.
The footage of the crash was captured by a doorbell camera in Hurst Road shortly before 8.40pm on Saturday.
The video shows the car lift off the ground as it crashes into a parked car on a driveway.
The Mercedes moves the parked car sideways and huge amounts of debris can then be seen in the air.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said damage was caused to a telegraph pole and the garden walls of two houses.
Karen Hearn, who was inside the house with her child, said it was a miracle that no one was hurt.
The 35-year-old explained: “It was a massive shock when we heard a loud bang from outside the house.
“After the car went into the garden wall, all the bricks went flying off onto the house and it smashed the window of my unborn child's nursery.
“Luckily, my child was with me at the time in my bedroom.
“I couldn’t have imagined what would have happened if anyone was in the nursery room."
The road was cordoned off by emergency services as the incident was dealt with.
It can be seen the car is hanging off the garden wall with debris scattered on the floor.
Duncan, 61, who lives next door to Karen, said he’s worried about the safety of those living on Hurst Road.
Duncan explained: “We were shocked and rushed outside when we heard a bang from the street.
“I’m not surprised though.
“This is not the first time something like this has happened.
“Cars are always speeding down this road.
“There’s also a school on the same road, so it’s also dangerous for the kids.
“Something needs to be done urgently to prevent this from happening again."
Two people were taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service after being treated at the scene.
Their conditions were later assessed as non-life threatening.
The front end of the van also looks severely damaged following the crash.
A spokesperson for Met Police said: “At 20:39hrs on Saturday, 2 July police were called to Hurst Road, Bexley following reports of a road traffic collision.
“Two men were taken to hospital with injuries that were later assessed as non-life threatening.
“Damage was caused to a telegraph pole and the garden walls of two houses.
“Hurst Road was closed while the emergency services responded to the incident.”
