A man has been fined £276 for overtaking a cyclist without sufficient distance while driving his BMW through Lewisham.
Muthukumaru Thayalan, 49, admitted to driving a mechanically propelled vehicle on a road or without reasonable consideration to other users.
On November 15, 2021, he did not provide sufficient passing space to a cyclist when driving his BMW on Ladywell Road.
The case was closed with a single justice procedure at Willesden Magistrates' Court on June 10.
Thayalan, of 42 Clayhill Crescent, Eltham, received five points on his license.
He was also fined £152, £34 in victim fees, and £90 in court costs which have to be paid by July 8.
