A man has been sentenced to 30 weeks in prison after stealing bikes from underground car parks in Woolwich.
On June 22, 2022, Greenwich MPS tweeted that Woolwich Police saw a wanted burglar on Woolwich New Road and arrested him.
Police say the suspect was then awaiting processing for a further two burglaries from The Royal Arsenal Estate.
On June 23, 2022, Greenwich MPS tweeted that a man has been charged with “going equipped and two occasions of burglary” on top of his other pending cases.

Greenwich MPS said: “#WoolwichTownCentreTeam sighted a wanted burglar on Woolwich New Road and arrested him. Great spot as he is now awaiting processing for a further two burglaries from The Royal Arsenal Estate! #GreatSpot.
“Male has now been charged with going equipped and burglary x2 on-top of his other pending cases#CourtToday.
“A burglar has been sentenced to 30 weeks in prison for bike thefts from secure underground car parks in #Woolwich.
