Great British Racing has revealed the nine Music Nights happening at five racecourses across the south east this summer.
The events will take place in June and July and they’re part of 29 fixtures happening close to London.
A day at the races can be lots of fun and with musical acts all included in the ticket price, the day out just got better.
London has seven racecourses close by and easy to travel to using public transport: Ascot, Epsom Downs, Kempton Park, Lingfield Park, Newbury, Sandown Park and Royal Windsor.
Some famous faces will be taking to the stage during the events including Craig David and Paloma Faith.
If you’re at work in the day but want to get in on the action, you still can as many of the fixtures are evening races and when they end, Music Nights will keep the spirits up.

- Royal Windsor, Saturday 26th June: Sigala
- Epsom Downs, Thursday 30th June: Summer Nights – 70s
- Epsom Downs, Thursday 7th July: Summer Nights – 80s
- Epsom Downs, Thursday 14th June: Summer Nights – 90s
- Newbury, Saturday 16th July: Wetherby’s Super Sprint Cup ft. Craig David
- Sandown Park, Wednesday 20th July: Paloma Faith
- Sandown Park, Wednesday 27th July: Nile Rogers & Chic
- Epsom Downs, Thursday 28th July: Carwash
- Lingfield Park, Saturday 30th July: Paloma Faith
To showcase all summer racing fixtures and the amazing entertainment they have on offer, Great British Racing has teamed up with TV presenter and former football star, Jermaine Jenas as part of the Everyone’s Turf campaign.
Jenas who has attended a number of racing fixtures described the addition of music as “a fantastic way to get the most out of a summer day.”
Nevin Truesdale, Chief Executive of The Jockey Club racecourse group which runs Sandown Park Racecourse, said The Jockey Club looks forward to welcoming racegoers and hopes to make their day “as special as possible”.
More than 400 race meetings are taking place this summer across England, Scotland and Wales and a fixture for everyone between June 21 and September 30.
