A drug dealer from Lewisham has been jailed after a police officer witnessed a potential deal while out in an unmarked car.
Blerim Muldaka is facing three years behind bars after being arrested on December 26 last year.
Surrey officer Sarah Wentworth spotted a blue Vauxhall Astra driving at speed along the A320 Victoria Way at around 9pm.
The car then turned left on to Chobham Road and right into The Grove.
As he turned into the road, he honked his horn and a man who appeared to be waiting walked towards the car as it pulled up and got in.
After a few minutes he was seen exiting the vehicle from the passenger side.
Temporary Sergeant Wentworth then stopped the vehicle and detained the male under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act for a search after he provided false details.
When officers from the Neighbourhood Police Team searched the car, they found two iPhones, £560 in cash and 11 bags of cocaine concealed in a hidden compartment.
Muldaka appeared at Guildford Crown Court on May 11 where he pled guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine, driving whilst otherwise than in accordance with a licence and using a vehicle without valid third party insurance.
Woking Borough Commander, Inspector Moc, said: “This was a great spot on the part of T/Sgt Sarah Wentworth and brilliant work by the rest of the team to get this prolific drug dealer behind bars.
"My team are working hard to protect the community from drugs and I welcome any information of drug activities in their area.
"If you think someone is dealing drugs, contact us on social media or our website, ring us on 101 or call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800555111 if you want to remain anonymous.
"In an emergency, or where a crime is in progress, always ring 999. Remember, where there is drug dealing there is often exploitation, so you can do your bit to help keep Woking safe.”
A Surrey Police spokesperson said: "Thanks to the quick thinking of one of our officers, a drug dealer from Lewisham is facing three years behind bars.
