Pride Month is here, and the people of Lewisham can look forward to a packed schedule of events right across the borough.
The month may feature protests against anti-discrimination laws, but it is also a celebration of the LGBT+ community.
Despite June being Pride Month in the UK, many Pride events are held in July, August, and September.
So, we've gathered all the information on the events taking place across Lewisham that you can attend.
Deptford: The Triangle on June 26 and July 3.
An inclusive creative space and social club where The Triangle will host stitching workshops for Pride season.
Avalon Café: Switch Rising event on June 17
Address: Juno Way, SE14 5RW
An all-night party for the LGBT community with a night full of live music and DJs.
The event will start at 7pm and until late.
SET Woolwich: Qwe’re event on June 25
Address: Beresford Street, SE18 6BU 25 June,
A celebration with art stalls, a cabaret, plenty of musical performances, and DJs.
It will take place from 8pm until 3am.
Fox and Firkin: ‘Queer Off’ Summer Market on July 31
Address: Lewisham High St, London SE13 6JZ
A market for LGBTQ+ businesses with live music in the evening.
Market from 12pm until 6pm and with live music (£5 entry) from 8pm until 1am.
