Police have issued a renewed statement after a man was stabbed in Lewisham on Monday night.
Officers say they received multiple calls to men fighting in St Nortberts Road in Brockly at around 9.30pm - some believed to be armed with knives.
An 18-year-old victim was found near to a playground behind the Co-op supermarket.
Police applied two tourniquets due to the severity of the bleed.
He was taken to a south London hospital for treatment.
His condition was assessed as not life-threatening.
His family has been informed.
A male has now been arrested in connection with this incident.
Following the incident a section 60 was authorised for the SE4 area from 10.30pm on June 13 to 1.30pm on June 14.
A new section 60 order has now been authorised until 5am on June 15.
A Lewisham Police spokesperson said on Tuesday: "At approximately 2130hr on 13 June 22 Police received multiple calls to a group of males fighting in ST NORBERTS ROAD SE4 some believed armed with knives.
"Victim found near playground, behind the Coop Supermarket on St Norbert Road, SE4.
"Officers attended and applied two tourniquets due to the severity of the bleed.
"A male has been arrested for this."
A Met Police spokesperson said on Monday: “Police were called at approximately 21:25hrs on Monday, 13 June to reports of a man stabbed in the vicinity of St Norbert Park, SE4.
“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found an 18-year-old man suffering stab injuries.
“He was taken to a south London hospital for treatment – his condition is not life threatening.
“His family have been informed.
“There have been no arrests and enquiries into the circumstances continue.
“Anyone with information that could assist police is asked to call 101 or tweet @MetCC and quote CAD 7451/13June.
“Alternatively, you can provide information anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
“Following this incident a section 60 was authorised for the SE4 area from 22:30hrs on 13 June to 13:30hrs on 14 June.”
