A man armed with a machete has repeatedly stabbed the window of a nail salon in Lewisham.
Two men on a moped and armed with a machete were seen at TT Nails Boutique in New Cross Road at around 5.45pm on Saturday.
The passenger was reportedly seen to approach the front of the store, brandish a large machete from a sheath and repeatedly stab the window.
Police say this was "in order to inflict injury".
The details of the suspects are currently unknown.
A spokesperson for Lewisham Police said: "On Saturday 11th June 2022 at approximately 17:44hrs, police were called to TT NAIL BOUTIQUE, 257 NEW CROSS ROAD, SE14 in regards to two males attending the location on a moped armed with a machete.
"The passenger was seen to approach the front of the store, brandished a large machete from a sheath and repeatedly stabbed the window in order to inflict injury.
"The details of the suspects are currently unknown."
