POLICE have been given extra powers after a stabbing in Brockley.
A section 60 order is in place in certain areas of Lewisham.
This means that police can stop and search anyone within this area.
This will cover all roads in the SE4 postal area including Brockley Road, Drakefell Road, Ivydale Road, Brockley Way, and Eddystone Road.
It comes after an 18-year-old man was stabbed near St Norbert Park yesterday (June 13) at around 9.25pm.
The order, which came into force at 10.30pm last night, will remain until 1.30pm today (June 14).
