A man has been detained and arreted by armed police in Sidcup.
Officers were in Durham Road in Sidcup just before 11am on Thursday when they saw a man wanted on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs.
After a short foot chase, a 26-year-old man was detained in Lincoln Road by armed police police as part of a planned operation.
He was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and possession with intent to supply class B drugs.
He was taken to a south London police station and has been bailed pending further enquiries.
A Met Police spokesperson said: "Officers were in Durham Road, Sidcup, just before 11am on Thursday, 9 June when they saw a man wanted for possession with intent to supply class A and class B drugs.
"As part of a planned operation, and following a short foot pursuit, the 26-year-old man was detained in Lincoln Road by armed officers.
"He was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs, possession with intent to supply class B drugs.
"He was taken to a south London police station and he has been bailed pending further enquiries."
