A garage has been destroyed after a fire broke out in Sidcup.
Firefighters were called to the scene at Lyndon Avenue just before 8pm on Saturday (June 4).
The timber framed garage was destroyed by the blaze, and a small part of a neighbouring brick garage was also damaged.
There were no reports of any injuries from the fire.
The fire crews from Bexley, Erith and Sidcup fire stations attended the incident and were able to get the fire under control in less than an hour.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: “Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire in a garage in Lyndon Avenue, Sidcup.
“The timber framed garage was destroyed by fire. A small part of a neighbouring brick garage was also damaged.
“The Brigade was called at 19:51 and the fire was under control by 20:46. Fire crews from Bexley, Erith, and Sidcup fire stations attended the incident.
“The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
