A Jack Daniels thief has appeared in court following an incident at a Sainsbury's store in Lewisham.
John Awudi stole three bottles of Jack Daniels, to the value of £48, from the Sainsbury's store in New Cross Gate on May 10, 2022.
The 43-year-old admitted to the offence and was fined £124 during a hearing at Bromley Magistrates' Court on May 11.
Awudi, of Brixton Water Lane in Lambeth, must pay £10 per fortnight starting on June 8.
This includes a £40 fine, £34 surcharge and costs of £50.
No compensation was ordered due to low income.
