Police are hunting for two suspects after a shooting in Brockley.
It comes after a man, 18, admitted himself to hospital after being shot.
The incident happened in St Norbert Road on May 16 at around 3.15pm
A search of the area was carried out but there was no trace of any suspects or victims.
Officers are now working to trace two male suspects seen leaving the area two-up on a moped.
No arrests have been made following the incident.
The victim’s injuries are believed not to be life-threatening.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or tweet @MetCC and quote reference CAD 4414/16May.
You can also provide information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
A spokesperson for Met Police said: “An investigation is ongoing following a shooting in south London.
“Police were called at about 3.15pm on Monday, 16 May to reports of a firearm discharge on St Norberts Road, SE4.
“Officers, including firearms officers, attended.
“A search of the area was carried out but there was no trace of any suspects or victims.
“Police were called a short time later after an 18-year-old man self-presented at a south London hospital with a gunshot injury.
“His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
“Officers are working to trace two male suspects seen leaving the area two-up on a moped.
“There have been no arrests at this time.
“Detectives from Specialist Crime (Trident) are investigating and ask anyone who was in the area and saw anything suspicious, or who may have captured dash cam or doorbell footage that could assist police, to make contact.
“Anyone with information is asked to call police via 101 or tweet @MetCC quoting reference CAD 4414/16May.
“If you do not wish to speak to police you can also provide information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
