A woman has been taken to hospital after concerns for her welfare were raised near Bexleyheath station.
Officers were called to the line yesterday (May 16) at around 7.40pm.
The woman was detained under the Mental Health Act.
She was then taken to hospital for assessment.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “We were called to the line near Bexleyheath at 7.40pm yesterday (16 May) following reports of concern for the welfare of a woman.
“Officers attended and the woman was detained under the Mental Health Act before being taken to hospital for assessment.”
