A man from Dartford has been charged with stealing £144 worth of Cadbury Creme Eggs - which is around 48 individual eggs.
Wesley Knight, 37, has been charged with stealing the chocolate Easter treats from a Co-op store in Dartford.
He is also charged with stealing jars of coffee worth £54 from a Co-op store in Hawley Road, Dartford.
The Co-op in Hawley Road is no longer selling Creme Eggs, but they were previously priced at £3 for five eggs.
This suggests around 48 Creme Eggs were stolen.
Knight, of Willow Road in Dartford, appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court on April 12 charged with the offences alleged to have taken place on January 21.
He faces a further charge of stealing £200 of meat from Marks and Spencer in Dartford on February 4.
The case was adjourned and Knight is set to face trial at Medway Magistrates' Court on June 1.
He has been remanded on bail until then.
He must not enter Prospect Retail Park in Dartford, and has been ordered to live and sleep each night at his address to prevent interference with witnesses or otherwise obstruct the course of justice.
