A man has been taken to hospital with life-changing injuries after being hit by a train at Chelsfield station.
Emergency services were called to reports of a casualty on the tracks shortly after 10.25am today (April 13).
The man was then taken to a local hospital where his injuries are believed to be life-changing.
Officers say the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
Southeastern tweeted that all lines between Orpington and Sevenoaks were disrupted following the incident.
Services between the lines then returned to normal shortly after 12pm with some disruptions in place until 2pm.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “Officers were called to the line near Chelsfield railway station at 10.26am today (13 April) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
“Paramedics also attended, and a man has been taken to a local hospital.
“His injuries are believed to be life changing.
“This incident is not being treated as suspicious.”
