An opening date has been confirmed by American Golf for the relaunch of Barnehurst Golf Course.
The golf course, located in Mayplace Road in Bexleyheath, will be reopening on May 2.
It comes after the American retailer was announced as the new operator by Bexley Council in February 2022.
New additions to the course will include a Corso sports lounge, a 15-bay driving range, retail space with custom-fit technology, and a nine-hole course.
The venue closed its doors in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The previous operator for the golf course, Mytime Active, ended its lease on March 31, 2021, after 11 years of operating.
American Golf’s CEO, Gary Favell said: "We are looking forward to being part of the Barnehurst community and to welcoming past and new members to the club when we open our doors in Spring.
“The acquisition of Barnehurst Golf Club supports our wider vision to make golf accessible and fun for everyone.
"We want to break down the barriers to entry and to inspire as many people as possible to try golf for the first time."
The golf retailer also has 95 stores nationwide.
