LEWISHAM locals will have the chance to vote on who their councillors will be for the next four years.

The polls will take place on May 5, where locals will use the First Past The Post system to vote.

The Labour Party won all 54 seats in a landslide victory in the previous 2018 Lewisham elections.

If you are already registered, you do not need to re-register to vote again for the Local Council elections, unless you have moved address.

The deadline to register to vote is by midnight April 14, 2022.

Polling stations across Lewisham will be open from 7am to 10pm.

Results for all 19 wards will be announced on May 6 from 1pm.
