Part of the Dartford Crossing will be closed at certain times each week from tonight until June.
The east, or higher bore tunnel, will be closed between 10pm and 5am on weeknights and Sunday nights.
The roadworks will begin at 10pm tonight (April 3) and are set to continue until 5am on May 31.
Vehicles will be diverted via the west tunnel.
There is an alternative diversion for high-sided vehicles above 4.8m via the M25 clockwise.
